Do we humans have anything in common with plants? At first glance, we are very different. But on closer inspection, we have a lot in common: we grow, breathe, need sunlight and water, communicate and network and depend on each other. What does the breath of a plant sound like? What is the rhythm of their movements? How do they sound when they touch each other? Do they converse? Two dancers and a singer set out in search of the parallels between humans and plants, exploring their movements and interactions. Composer Jörg Ritzenhoff brings us into the musical world of plants and brings their growing sounds to life. GRÜN reflects on the relationship between humans and the plant world: How do we perceive the green world of plants? Where else can we find green?
How intertwined are we in this green world?

Choreographer Barbara Fuchs founded the tanzfuchs PRODUKTION label in Cologne in 2003, known for its innovative, interdisciplinary dance theater performances for adults and children. Together with her team, the artist explores the interface between sound, dance and visual elements to create new artistic spaces for dance. They have realized 12 productions for young and intergenerational audience.
