How does a person get into storytelling and who listens? Which (life) stories are heard and which voices are drowned out? How do we give space especially to those who are often rendered speechless? And how can we reinvent storytelling as an ancient custom between people?

The open workshop OPEN SPACE at the BOB Campus in Wuppertal Oberbarmen continues! We deal with our own stories in a self-determined way and express them through the means of art.

After the kick-off workshops ended in the second week of summer vacation with a cross-disciplinary final presentation consisting of paintings, video works, photographs and a joint dance performance, the project will now continue after the summer vacations. From August to September 2023, we will meet weekly again every Wednesday (>14) and Sunday (children >4), and explore the many ways in which we as humans can make ourselves heard artistically in society. The workshop includes painting, photography, dance, video and sound technology, and will again end with a final presentation in September.

In addition to the regular workshops, excursions to the Schauspielhaus and future Pina Bausch Center in Wuppertal take place in September. We will visit performances during the FRAGILE festival on sustainability for young audiences. Let's dance, paint, film and photograph together!
