In September 2025, the Pina Bausch Centre in Wuppertal will offer a weekly professional training session for professional dancers and advanced performers. The training takes place every Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Each session is led by a different international guest teacher. The focus is on contemporary dance, technique training, physical conditioning, coordination, and artistic expression.

Darwin Díaz hails from Venezuela and studied at IUDANZA University in Caracas before advancing his training at Folkwang Universität der Künste in Germany. He performed with the Folkwang Tanz-Studio, Theater Trier, and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, and now combines Hatha Yoga and Release Technique to teach organic movement, breath awareness, and energy flow. Darwin’s approach encourages natural ease, reducing muscular tension while expanding movement possibilities for healthy, expressive dancing.
