Cyanotype Workshop with Urban Wilderness

How can a plant become an image through light? And how can a natural material take on a completely new form?

The Pina Bausch Zentrum, together with Urban Wilderness, invites you to a creative cyanotype workshop.

Together, we will experiment with plants from the project and explore the unique technique of cyanotype. Using light and its characteristic deep blue colour, we will create unique images on paper and textiles.

The plants are made visible in an artistic way, transformed and placed in a new context. What grows in a place? What remains? And what new stories can emerge when nature meets light, colour and design?

The workshop invites participants to experiment with materials, try out the technique themselves and discover the plants of the project from a new perspective.
