With THESPACEWEMAKE, deufert&plischke celebrate 25 years of artistic collaboration. Together with long-time collaborators from Johannesburg, Berlin, Cologne, Wuppertal, and Schwelm, they create a polyphonic dance concert that moves between performance, happening, workshop, and live art.
THESPACEWEMAKE opens a space that is not simply given but comes into being through the shared act of making art. Never fixed or complete, it continually reshapes itself through the shifting roles of watching, acting, remembering, and participating.
The stage itself becomes a social practice: stories emerge and disappear, voices overlap, dances continue in other bodies. What unfolds is not a finished work but a shared experience that only comes fully into being together with its audience.
