Between environmental crisis and magical beauty – with Kenji Takagi, Stsiapan Hurski, Anna Lisa Palmieri, Wigabriel Soto Eschebach Followed by a discussion with the artists

Plastic floods our world – but what happens when dancers bring this everyday material to life? Inspired by Mark Sieczkarek's visionary work The Tower, four international artists transform the stage into a fascinating cosmos of movement and recycled elements.

Ten years after its creation, this performance has gained an oppressive topicality: in view of the failed UN plastic conference, artistic vision has become painful reality. But Plastic is more than an environmental statement – it is a poetic play with materials, bodies and sounds, accompanied by live music (trumpet: Karlo Wentzel, percussion: André Füsser).

A performance that touches without lecturing – and shows how art can change our view of the world. Experience how unexpected beauty emerges from the rubbish of our time.
