Celebration of Life

We cordially invite friends, colleagues and interested individuals, together with the family, to a Celebration of Life held within the exhibition paths through my garden – Art by Mark Sieczkarek, a memorial honoring the choreographer and artist, on Saturday, October 11th, at 12 p.m.

The retrospective exhibition is dedicated to his remarkable body of work, which he helped prepare and curated with us until the very end. Mark Sieczkarek passed away on September 8th, 2025.

Surrounded by his artistic legacy and the paths he carved through his creative garden, we want to come together to celebrate his life and cherish our memories of him. Everyone is invited to bring a contribution in Mark's honor: music, stories, texts, or performances—whatever feels most fitting. We also ask that you bring, if possible for you, a little dish to share so that we can spend meaningful hours together, nourishing both body and spirit as we remember him. We are especially proud to highlight Highland Child, an artist's book that Mark created this year. It was his heartfelt wish to see it published and shared with others. Two generous supporters helped get the project started. We still need funding to bring it to completion, and would be deeply grateful for your contribution.
