On November 9, 2025, starting at 2 p.m., Wuppertal will transform into a vibrant centre of urban dance culture: The Wu Tal Session 2025 will bring together dancers, artists and culture enthusiasts from the region and beyond at the Pina Bausch Centre under construction.
The focus will be on an energetic dance battle that celebrates various urban styles and provides a stage for young talent as well as international artists. DJ sets and a strong artistic environment will create atmosphere and dynamism.
The Wu Tal Session understands dance as a universal language: inclusive, equal and connecting. It creates spaces for encounter where cultural diversity becomes visible and community emerges.
The cooperation between the Urban Art Complex Wuppertal, the Pina Bausch Centre under construction and Sway e.V. has created a format that is not only artistically compelling, but also strengthens social participation, youth development and cultural diversity.
Whether on stage or in the audience, the Wu Tal Session 2025 invites everyone to experience the power of dance and to make a joint statement for openness and creativity.
