Tother we are designing a centre of our city that unites us. A project in the Sustainable City Centres and Town Centres funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building. Now it’s being implemented!

An exciting summer with many different events, projects and concepts awaits InnenBandStadt. The first real-world labs have started and the InnenBandStadt Expo is coming in June. We are very excited and look forward to taking you with us on our journey to shape the city centre together!

The individual events this week will take place throughout the programme area. The base camp will be in and in front of the future Pina Bausch Centre (Bundesallee 260).

Since the start of InnenBandStadt, town hall façades have been illuminated, city vouchers have been sold, vacancies have been filled with new uses, urban development plans have been commissioned and real-world laboratories have been launched. With the Expo, we want to give an overall impression of the many ongoing project modules and continue on our way to a forward-looking city centre development for Wuppertal.

We are looking forward to many visitors, interesting talks and discussions and further exciting ideas for our InnenBandStadt!
