Sensitive Touch, Sensitive Breathing
The work aims to explore through the sense of touch the fragility and strength of those precious gestures that allow the body to reconnect with emotions and generate empathy. The students will use a table and a chair as a matrix to explore and to develop a specific movement research through touch, inhabiting and creating a new space through everyday objects with a physical and sensorial approach.
The meaning and function of the objects themselves will thus be altered using the imagination, desire and need arising from the sense of touch. Can I still breathe while I touch? Together with this search for touch we will focus our attention on the breath that constantly changes and adapts according to emotions and physical effort.
